Claims Entry - Prior to issuing a return merchandise authorization number, a claim ticket must be entered. The claim ticket allows the operator to review sales to the customers, calls made to the customer and serialized product sold to the customer. The ability to create an RMA record is based on the verification that the product to be returned was originally purchased by the customer and a valid invoice record exists on the system.
