The Profi’C
System Utilities module is the foundation to all Profi’C
Business Solutions. It is the utility that sits beneath the
applications themselves. This powerful tool provides versatility and the components to
enhance, improve and customize your system to better suit your specific business. With the
Object linkage to Visual Basic, Client Server Applications can now be created in a flash. Profi’C
System Utilities will assist you in managing system resources and
utilization. The Profi’CUtilities Object/Program Template will allow you
to link the Global Dictionary and it’s associated data definitions to all the data
fields presented on a screen by a program. This easy to learn, easy to use utility handles
the screen position, data field type (alphanumeric, numeric or dates), field length, field
and file verification, global on-line help, hot key for both Data Base queries and Data
Linked Programs and many other attributes associated with a data object. The Query
Definition tools allow step by step entry of database queries which are then saved on the
system and by using the menu utility you will be able to attach the program to the menu
you choose. Using programs created with Profi’C
Utilities provides the user with programs that are flexible, easy to use and adaptable to
a businesses changing environment. A user is never locked into a program. Any program may
be suspended from operation so that the user may perform another task, and then
automatically the user will be re-linked to the original program once the new task is
completed. With this utility, the user can "Push Levels" to perform another task
on Menu Selections up to 10 times. The File Utilities Selector allows you to Create New
Files, maintain your Data File Dictionary, maintain your Global Dictionary, etc. The File
Utilities Selector allows you to create and/or maintain your Profi’C
data entry screen. Multi-Tasking allows you to run reports in the
background so that your terminal will not be tied up. Solve a variety of programming

System Utilities (standalone) to interface with other existing
