Summary
For a variety of
businesses, it is essential to track costs on a "per job" basis. These costs not
only involve inventory and materials, but also labor and require in many instances the
ability to invoice as the job progresses instead of only upon completion. The Profi'C
Job Costing Module allows the user the flexibility to control each step of a project from
estimating to completion.
Unlimited Cost Code Categories (Labor, Material, etc.) and Cost Types
(Demolition, Concrete, etc.) may be defined and assigned to a job. Job Estimating
allows you to enter the components (inventory or non-inventory) which will be used on a
job. A Job Estimate may be printed, and updated periodically until completion.
Customers may be billed through Profi'C Order Processing or Accounts
Receivable Debit Memos by entering the job number as a reference. Any transaction entered in Profi'C Accounts Payable and Accounts
Receivable with the Job Number will automatically pass the information into the Job Master
File (Job Setup).
Through inquiries and reports you will be able to monitor the entire
cycle of any job, keeping up-to-date with expenditures and receipts. |
